Our Owners

MNPA is wholly owned (through intermediary holding companies) by the Merchant Navy Officers Pension Fund, an industry-wide scheme with around £3.3 billion in assets. We started life in the 1930s as their in-house pension department and became a third party administrator in 1986. Since then, MNPA has grown to become an award winning third party administrator with responsibility for administering around 435,000 members in 48 schemes on behalf of prestigious clients who share our ethos and values.

Certain aspects of our comprehensive range of services (such as treasury and accounting functions and web services) are provided by a sister company, Merchant Navy Trustee Executive Services Ltd.
