Senior Database Analyst Programmer (10 month contract)

About the Role
An opportunity has become available within our IS Team to perform data migration, data support, interface development and database reporting responsibilities.

Key aspects of the role involve: -

  • Being responsible for data migration and interface development tasks during client implementations and other projects. Contribute towards analysis and planning, and management of actions and issues;
  • Being responsible for data, interface and reporting support activities;
  • To perform responsibilities within other projects as required.


About You
You will demonstrate:-

Technical skills:

  • SQL and PL/SQL (essential)
  • Competence in Microsoft Office
  • Oracle DBA (desirable)
  • Pensions administration systems (desirable)


Other:

  • Ability to plan and manage own workload (essential)
  • Analytical skills (desirable)
  • Experience of / exposure to project management
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Logical approach to problem solving
  • Customer service orientation
