Simon Knox, Assistant Client Accountant, took part on day 6 of Sir Ian Botham’s 10 day adventure to raise funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. The walk started in Manchester on 10 April, before finishing in London on 19 April at Great Ormond Street Hospital. This is the 25th anniversary of Sir Ian’s commitment to the charity.
Simon’s part of the walk consisted of approximately 5 miles around and near Epsom Racecourse, a beautiful part of the country along the North Downs.
Not content with just walking, Simon also organised a Grand National Sweep Stake for some of the staff at MNPA and in total raised a fantastic £375. Thanks to all contributors and particularly Simon for his efforts.

Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the only UK charity solely dedicated to research into blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. They have recently changed their name from Leukaemia Research to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to better communicate the breadth of their work and support more blood cancer patients than ever before. Contributions really make a difference to the lives of the 28,500 people diagnosed every year with a blood cancer.
