Successful completion of the London to Brighton Bike Ride 2011

Team before completing the London to Brighton Bike Ride 2011

Sunday 19th June saw MNPA’s band of intrepid cyclists raising money for the British Heart Foundation by taking part in the 2011 London to Brighton bike ride and raising over £1000.

A big thank you for a fantastic effort from everyone involved.

Although no members of the team threatened to displace the cycling hierarchy of Sir Chris Hoye and Victoria Pendlelton, probably due to their garish clothing, their were notable performances from “speedsters” James Lozell and Nigel Parker.

The team members were as follows; Alan Bird, Kim Bluck, Sarah Boyle, Alex Collins, Matt Clackson, John Cullen, Tony Garton, Nick Greening, Steve Jebson, James Lozell, Nigel Parker, Vikki Stephens, Malcolm Wilson, Richard Wilson and Mike Wood.
