Wear It Rainbow

Wear it Rainbow

On Wednesday 23 November 2011, a ‘Wear it Rainbow’ Day, bake sale and ‘Win a Day off Work’ raffle marked the beginning of MNPA’s support of Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity as our Charity of the Year Partner for 2011/12.

A representative from Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity was on site during the day giving staff the opportunity to ask questions about the charity, as well as the chance to learn more about the fundraising plans for the upcoming year. Forthcoming plans include a mobile phone recycling campaign, ‘Bonus Ball’ month, quiz night and copper wars, in addition to marketing Rainbow’s fundraising events to our employees.

Bungle, Zippy & George also spent the day with employees in our Leatherhead office helping to sell raffle tickets and collect donations. Between the two offices a massive £668.82 was raised, making a total of over £1,000 raised so far and with a fundraising target of £3,000 we’re already a third of the way there.

The Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity works tirelessly within the local community to provide emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
