MNPA was a sea of purple on Wednesday 28 July when they held an Alzheimer’s Awareness event at their offices to raise money for their charity of the year “Alzheimer’s Research Trust”.
A representative from Alzheimer’s Research Trust was on site during the day giving staff the opportunity to ask questions about the charity or about Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Staff also had the chance to pick up a purple t-shirt promoting the charity in exchange for a small donation.
Between the two offices a massive £633.15 was raised by staff making and selling cakes, donating board games, books and other gifts that may have been forgotten in the loft. Staff also had the chance to buy tickets for the Surrey v Somerset cricket match at the Oval with all proceeds going towards the final total. A great effort by everyone involved.
